Baguio, Benguet politikos not moving to PDP-Laban

Winning politikos from Baguio and Benguet are not joining the bandwagon of President-elect Rodrigo Duterte’s PDP-Laban.

Micaela Ilao of ABS CBN asked winning politikos from Baguio City and Benguet if they were joining PDP-Laban and they said no.

Baguio City’s incoming Congressman Mark Go said that he was not leaving the Nacionalista Party.

“Wala akong planong lumipat sa ibang partido.Mananatili akong kasapi ng Nacionalista Party,” Go said.

Mark Go defeated veteran politician Bernardo Vergara.

Re-elected Baguio City Mayor Mauricio Domogan of the United Nationalist Alliance called on all elected officials to support Duterte regardless of political party.

“Ang importante yung pagtulung-tulungan of all elected officials, supporting him (Duterte) regardless of political party. Diyan (turncoatism) tayo nasisira,” Domogan said.

Benguet Governor-elect Cresencio Pacalso and re-elected Benguet Congressman Ronald Cosalan are not moving over to PDP-Laban too.

“Sa ngayon, wala tayong intensyon na sumama sa ibang partido,” Pacalso said.

Pacalso defeated Vice Governor Nelson Dangwa of LP.

“Wala akong balak lumipat ng partido. LP pa rin ako,” Cosalan said.

Cosalan defeated Governor Nestor Fongwan of NUP.
