Rosario’s Ricafrentes offer relocation site, cash loans to fire-struck market traders
The Rosario local government unit, headed by Mayor Voltaire Ricafrente and Vice Mayor Jose Ricafrente, has offered a relocation site and cash assistance to business owners those stalls were gutted in the public market fire Thursday evening, December 15.
The two politikos said affected traders can avail to P20,000 to P50,000 loans from the town to tide them over.
Cavite Provincial Fire Marshall Supt. Jerome Reano said the fire started at 9:25 p.m. December 15 and was declared fire out at 2:30 a.m. December 16.
Damage to the dry and wet section of the public market was estimated at P15 million with no casualties.
