Around 50 leading companies, business firms and shopping malls like SM and Robinson are among prospective employers in this city’s “Mega Job Fair” on Labor Day at the Imus District Mall.
The Monday job exhibition will start 9:00 a.m..
Imus City Public Employment Service Office (PESO) manager Clarita “Leng” T. Casing has announced that the giant firms and PESO-accredited companies would be offering local job opportunities from sales, office staff, junior executive to executive positions.
The city government through the PESO is staging the third mega job fair in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and District Ayala Mall of Imus.
Casing said the job fairs were part of City Mayor Emmanuel L. Maliksi’s “#EpektibongLingkodMamayan” campaign to ensure decent employment for city residents and other jobseekers.
Various placement agencies are also offering opportunities from various overseas employers in coordination with the POEA.
Casing said applicants were advised to bring their resume with picture and a valid ID during the fair.
Interested applicants may also contact the Imus PESO office for more details at telephone number (046) 416-5881.
The PESO manager also said that three job fairs were already conducted on January 29, on March 24 and will again host the Labor Day jobs fair on May 1.
She said nine more job fairs were slated this year to meet their target of 12 job fairs in 2017.
