Para sa Cavite! Vice Gov Revilla joins PDP-Laban
Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla has jumped ship to Partido Demokratikong Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban), President Rodrigo Duterte’s party.
The Cavite politiko took his oath as the ruling party’s newest member before Senate President Koko Pimentel last May 31.
Revilla took his oath alongside Quezon City 5th District Representative Alfred Vargas, Marikina City Mayor Marcelino Teodoro, and its City Council.
“As a new member of PDP-Laban, I am committed to bringing the party’s programs and projects to our province. The interest of the people should be my first priority,” Revilla said.
Revilla was the youngest vice governor in the history of Philippines having been elected at the age of 25.
