Gov Remulla vows to go after provincial health officer’s killers
Cavite Governor Boying Remulla on Wednesday (July 12) vowed that he will not rest until the killers of the provincial health officer are brought to justice.
Dr. George Repique, Jr was killed in an ambush by still unidentified men after his hospital duty in Trece Martires on July 11.
Repique was Cavite’s provincial health officer for the past seven years.
Remulla says he is angry about what happened to Repique, who he described as a “class act.”
“We, the people of the Province of Cavite, are grieving. We are angry. We will not stop until justice is attained. To the authors of this heinous crime: We will get you,” Remulla said.
