RIP! Former Sen. Bong Revilla pays tribute to his “tatay,” the late action star and director Baldo Marro

Oct 24, 2017 @ 14:35

Former action star and Sen. Bong Revila Jr. is mourning the death of veteran actor and director Baldo Marro and condoles with the latter’s family and loved ones for their loss.

Revilla, who is currently detained, reminisced on Facebook about the many lessons that his “Tatay Baldo” taught him when he was starting out in action movies, including how to look badass when shooting and reloading a gun, and how to stage a proper fight scene.

His Tatay Baldo was also an expert on stunts and the best camera angles to capture an action scene in the best way, he recalled.

For him, there would have been no Bong Revilla the action star were it not for Baldo Marro, and for this, he will always be grateful.

Rest in Peace,” he added.
