NHCP bares hero-centric activities in Marogondon
The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) said it will hold “history and culturally-enriched” activities at the “Museo ng Paglilitis ni Aguinaldo” this 2018.
The museum, which is also known as the Bonifacio Trial House (BTH), will feature various activities such as lectures, exhibits, and art workshops.
BTH Curator Melanio Guevara said they will hold the “Aba! Abaniko” art workshop in celebration of National Arts Month.
“The event aims to teach the children the value of hard work and creativity as a means of earning a living and to provide an outlet where children can freely express their nationalism and value for freedom through arts and crafts,” Guevara said.
The BTH will also “Rebolusyong Filipina: A Special Exhibit,” a month-long exhibit at the Gregoria de Jesus Gallery about the Women’s Chapter of the Katipunan and its members in March, as well as a talk on the lives of Andres Bonifacio’s siblings and their contributions to Philippine history in April.
The 121st Commemoration of Bonifacio’s death, on the other hand will be the highlight in May.
