Gov Mandanas vows to seek funding for Batangas’ health programs
Batangas Governor Dodo Mandanas vowed to seek additional funding from the national government for the provincial government’s medical projects.
The Batangas politiko made the statement during hsi meeting with the province’s hospital chiefs last January 4.
Among the problems the Batangas provincial government is looking to address this year is the lack of doctors and nurses in the provincial hospitals.
Mandanas and the hospital chiefs also agreed to coordinate with the Association of Philippine Medical Colleges Foundation, Inc. to have the provincial and district hospitals accredited for possible internships.
This will enable the provincial government to increase the number of doctors in the province’s government hospitals.
