Walang pinipiling panahon! Laguna Gov. Ramil Hernandez warns vs fake news on class suspension

Jun 11, 2018 @ 13:11

Fake news producers don’t just deal with politics, they even cause confusion on weather-related matters.

Laguna Gov. Ramil Hernandez has asked his constituents for help in reporting a fake account that made a bogus class suspension announcement.

Hernandez said Laguna officials had been closely monitoring the weather and that it was not easy to decide whether to cancel classes or not because many factors are at play.

And it certainly doesn’t help if a fake Facebook account is making bogus announcements about the suspension of classes. Things like this could cause harm to many, he said.

While we all want officials to make timely announcements about class and work suspensions, fake news never helps!
