Ano daw? ‘Bola muna bago droga’ advice of Cavite Vice Gov. Jolo Revilla has netizens chuckling
Sports programs are among the ways to keep the youth away from drugs, but some may have been confused by a line that Cavite Vice Gov. Jolo Revilla uttered at a recent basketball game.
In thanking the Bacoor residents who came out to support the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League, Revilla asked them to keep on doing what they’re doing.
“Tama yang ginagawa niyo. Bola muna bago droga,” he said in a TV interview, which Jhay Bautista shared on his Facebook account.
Revilla appeared to have realized his flub, that he sounded like he was promoting drug use after getting into sports. He quickly corrected himself and said it should be “bola, hindi droga.”
But since the interview was on video, it quickly spread on Facebook and drew hundreds of thousands of views from netizens who could not help but laugh at the advice.
