Strike Revilla: Proposed Philippine Code of Crimes to harmonize various penal laws

Aug 9, 2018 @ 12:51

Cavite 2nd District Representative Strike Revilla, in his Abante column, said the country has long needed an update to the Revised Penal Code (RPC).

The Cavite politiko made the remark after the House Committee on Justice recently tackled House Bill No. 6204, which aims to repeal the RPC and replace it with the Philippine Code of Crimes.

Revilla also said that the proposed measure aims to harmonize the various penal laws of the Philippines.
