Nov 3, 2018 @ 11:39

For Dasmarinas Mayor Pidi Barzaga, halloween wasn’t just an opportunity for employees to show their spooky and creative side, it was a time to earn some extra cash as well.

Barzaga held a halloween costume Competition for city officials and employees and asked them to come in costumes as their favorite characters from foreign movies.

The mayor himself joined in the fun and donned Captain Hook and Batman costumes.

The top winners received P30,000 while fifth placers received P5,000.

Not bad for a day of dressing up!

“To provide the city officials and employees with an opportunity to showcase their creativity and to provide a break from their daily routine at work, the City Government once again spearheaded a Halloween Costume Competition for City Officials and Employees on October 30, 2018 in which they were required to wear Halloween costumes based on foreign movie characters. Even the city officials such as Mayor Pidi Barzaga who donned his Captain Hook and Batman costumes as well as Vice Mayor Rex Mangubat and the Sangguniang Panlungsod Members made the effort to wear artistic Halloween costumes.
