Sorry na! Former Cavite Gov. and UP Fighting Maroons team manager Jonvic Remulla apologizes for costing the team one point

Dec 3, 2018 @ 12:20

Former Cavite Gov. and UP Fighting Maroons team manager Jonvic Remulla briefly forgot basketball rules and cost the team one point.

Remulla was cited for a technical foul for approaching the referee during the cooling off period, which led to Ateneo being awarded one free throw. The shot went in.

In a Facebook post, Remulla apologized to the UP community and UAAP technical committee, explaining that he had not been aware of the “cooling off” rule.

He took responsibility for his actions.

But he could not help but heave a sigh of relief as that free throw was not the deciding factor in the game, because UP lost by more than one point.

But next time, we bet he will know better!

“To the UP Community and the UAAP technical committee: “My Bad!” I was not aware of the “cooling off” rule. I had no bad intentions and accept full responsibility. Buti na lang more than one point ang lamang 😅,” Remulla posted.
